How to improve your English vocabulary by reading

It's true that one of the best ways to improve our vocabulary in any language is by reading, but sometimes we don't know exactly what to read according to our level:

* If you are a beginner, maybe one of the best option is the Oxford Bookworm Library. You'll find your best stage in this collection of different stories from Charles Dickens to Ellis Peters and always adapted to your level.

By Charles Dickens

* Once you have improved your level to upper- intermediate, you can opt for one of the highest stages and a good example to it could be: A Passage to India by E.M Forster

By E.M. Forster

However, if you are a passionate reader and you would like to try a real novel, one of the best options could be British novels like To the Lighthouse, by Virginia Woolf or Wuthering Heights by Emily Brönte

or American ones such as: The Great Gatsby, by Francis- Scott Fitzgerald

Anyway, don't lose your interest for literature and try reading one book in a foreign language. You'll notice how your vocabulary improves. But, above all,

Enjoy reading!!!
